I have been coming to the beach every birthday for years and staying in this same place...I wouldn't stay anywhere else! Nothing fancy but excellent location, comfy rooms and pleasant staff. It was The Ritz but recently changed names and owners but still "MY" place!!

Nice friendly and refreshing, close to hotels, restaurants and family activities; not too commercial

There are picnic areas and access to the beach for $5. Lots of shells if you like shelling and beautiful views of the sunset.

Wonderful to stroll first thing in the morning as the sun is rising. The colours and shadows make for great photos. You can wander peacefully or stride out with purpose, greeting fellow strollers on the way. Equally enjoyable in the cool of the evening too...More

Walking on the beach is a must. From. Day light to midnight there is always something to see. The beaches are so clean compared to others I have visited and are never crowded.

Nice views while walking to eat makes things convenient. Able to walk and see the beach without getting sand all over you.

This is a wonderful beach in every sense. Some may complain about the crowding but the overall experience is very positive. The city goes out of it's way to provide a clean, safe and pleasant experience for it's visitors.

If you aren't staying there, the best place to park is a lot at The Pier area. Walking anywhere from there is easy.
