A nice waterfall and an easy hike.

My husband and I went to Falling Waters about 2 days after a small rain storm and it was amazing! The flow of the fall wasn't too hard but still strong enough for some great pictures. The walk from the parking lot was only like 5 minutes and it was an easy walk. I can't wait to go back when... More

Beautiful falls and very close to the interstate. The park was easy to get to and the walk was not too long or too steep to see the waterfall. Didn't get to walk on the sinkhole trail, but it looked very interesting too. Definitely worth a side trip if you're on I-10!

We stopped for a picnic lunch on our way home from Orlando. What a lovely park! The sinkhole below the waterfall was impressive. The lake and beach was lovely as well. The trails were not very extensive but the main ones were paved or decked. It's a great 1-2 hr picnic and hiking stop on the way to/from Orlando area.... More

Falling waters State park is the tallest waterfall in Florida (they don't have many though). The Park is pretty and well maintained with a wooden walkway to the falls and a picnic area, free parking, beach area , BBQ grills and picnic tables and restrooms. We went in May and the falls were flowing nicely and the weather was perfect.... More

Small, compact park. Campground, waterfall, lake, and trails between them. None of the trails are very long. Couldn't have been much more than a mile walking end-to-end. Campground was very well run, great camping neibors, magnificent bathrooms -- even a place at the bathrooms to wash the dishes. Consider this as well -- camp here at Falling Waters, then take... While staying in Marianna, FL we visited this nice park looking for the waterfall and to check out the campground. Nice roads, clean more modern bathrooms, helpful staff. The campgrounds were a bit rugged; the lots appearing uneven, tight, and short. Only a couple of the lots were paved. Nice wooded area though. Next we drove just a bit from... More

Very small campground but a beautiful state park. Tall towering pines - Just gorgeous. Will definitely visit again.

This park has wonderful walking trails. There is a beautiful water fall and sink holes to see. Wild life is abundant. My wife and I camped here for 4 days. Water and 50 amp service was available no sewer or cable. We were able to get local TV on antenna. There is a dump station. The shower and restrooms in... More
