Butterfly house is so much fun for children and grandchildren! The guides do a fine job of providing guidance, and explaining what everything is about!

The lady that provided information about butterflies was very knowledgeable. The butterfly enclosure was very small, maybe 30' x 30' and we saw maybe 10-15 butterflies. The information session was free.

Great place to view butterflies and learn about their life cycle and habitat. Bring your camera! You may also see the resident iguana as he gets buzzed by his butterfly friends.

Great teaching tool for children and adults. A must if you are re-locating to SW FL and are interested in planting a garden that attracts butterflies.

We were there during the borrowing owl festival and the attendant was very knowledgeable about the butterflies in the house and what they ate for food. Very relaxing to walk around in and see the different plants and gorgeous butterflies.

Visited in February the day before the burrowing owl festival when the staff was introducing new butterflies (they ship through the mail, who knew?) The house contains the various plants that each type of butterfly prefers. I don't know about the seasonal mix that must...More

Hi. There is no cost--it's free. There is a donation jar. It's in a public park. Do check their website for the times when the "butterfly person" gives the tour--she was excellent. Denny
