Loriga is by far one of the most beautiful river beaches in Serra da Estrela. However is equally cold! :) Nevertheless, its a must see and look at the bright side...you can stay pretty much alone in the water since its so cold! hehe
Very pleasent, relax and quiet area but small for parking. Nice photos of the small lakes and the sorrund moutains. can have a picknic, has tables there.

Wonderful but... too crowded. At weekends is really too crowded in AUgust. And the water is a bit cold.... but is Serra's water, the best in Portugal... and it has a wonderful bar.
