I only pulled into this place because I was driving from Tampa through Brooksville, up to Citrus County and wanted to try a different route. It's very pretty! All along US 41, there are gorgeous areas that no one but locals (or like me, former...More

Nice place to visit for short trail walking unless you want to walk over the same spots over and over again. In less than 30 minutes we covered all the trail paths.

A nice serene place that you can have a picnic or spend an afternoon. Great place to walk around the beautiful lake. I prefer coming here during the week as there are usually very few people around.

If you're looking for a short hiking excursion this is a great place to visit. Conveniently located off US Hwy 41 and about 2 miles of clear, level paths to walk. We didn't fish but I understand this is a popular spot.

Enjoyable, easy walk around a small lake. Saw a very large turtle, shorebirds, and a pair of osprey. Pleasant and quiet.

We really enjoyed this trail around the lake. It is a paved road wide enough for one car--so it is ' one way ' all the way around the lake. t's almost 2 miles. We saw an alligator, pileated wood pecker, cardinals, hawks and a...More

There is a really nice loop of a little over a mile around a pretty lake and picnic tables. Great place for impromptu lunch stop. Very peaceful.

Nice spot to get away. Perfect for a picnic or a walk on the trail or even the road that loops around the lake. Pretty park.
