Awesome place to visit ... old Florida nostalgia at its best. You still can find the "old typical souveniers" as in a vintage roadside tourist stop. Don't miss Boyett's when you're in Brooksville.

I would say yes,there are a few places with shaded picnic tables. A good spot is in the back right corner of animal area by the monkeys.

And it is less than $3 to add a bag of food so that you can feed the animals too.
