This pleasant nature center offers two walks which can be combined if you choose. Parking was good. The walk is suitable for all ages, but if you are looking for a strenuous hike, this is not it.

beautiful wildlife & plants. Great in the morning before it gets too hot as mostly in the sun and walkway is elevated above the marshes.

The negative reviews are unwarranted. This an incredible place to go especially for birding.frequent sightings of the Painted Bunting near the front of the visitors center at the feeders. The visit and parking is free! (look for the hidden lion in the boardwalk)

The green Cay broad Walk is very nice, but there was hardly anything to see. A few birds Egrets and ducks swimming. We liked Wakodahatchee wetlands in Delray Beach much better. There is a lot more to see there.

Visited few wetland in the area, this one in by far more interesting than some other. Full of birds and ducks among them the spoonbill, I visited the place twice. Unfortunately, dogs are not aloud.

Best time is in the morning or early evening as there's more wildlife activity, but anytime is a treat as it's a perfect nature getaway. It's also a great place to bring out of town guests to show them a little of outside Florida

i came here immediately after visiting Wakodohatchee. Green Cay is beautiful and with longer paths than there but we did not see the amount of wildlife as we did there. Perhaps because at this point it was later in the day. unfortunately we did not get to experience their rather large visitor center too much but it seemed nice and... More

Passed by the other and decided to drop in. The parking was packed. What a beautiful layout. Just wetlands surrounded by farms and developments. What a nice reprieve. Major boardwalk that winds thru the wetlands highlighting local forna and wildlife.

I was staying near the Green Cay Center, and found myself returning several times. It was as satisfying as a day out on the water. Saw many bird species, fantastic plants, and a six or seven-foot alligator sunning itself on a bank. Many visitors, but it didn't feel crowded to me. The staff at the Visitor Center were very friendly... More

This is such a wonderful place to visit, that I make a point of stopping every time I'm in town. It's a little nature oasis that takes you off the beaten path of the hustle and bustle of south florida. Great for adults and kids.
