Got together with friends while visiting from Ct. Had a great time, nice and clean. Great access to the beach from the gazebos. Grills are also available to beach goers.

I cant say it has soft white sand like other reviewers. We were there during red tide and there dead fish and shells that felt more like rocks than soft white sand. The views are good. It was cool watching the storm come in.

This beach is a nice place to go with families. Lots of parking, rest rooms, picnic areas and sugary sand. There’s usually a woman selling hot dogs at one of the entrances, and it’s also right next to docs beach house bar and restaurant where...More

Not...so sad for our beaches right now lined with dead fish. :( I hope the government hears I cries and help the poor wildlife that we dearly love and so sad to see... and not healthy for us either!

Absolutely loved it. If ever in town I would definitely recommend going to the barefoot reserve beach. It’s just as lovely.

Beware of Red tide, which is pollution in the ocean. We were unaware of the situation and walked up to a beach of dead fish and sand knats. Because we saw the beach full of beach goers, we thought someone had left their catch behind....More

We have visited here two times and lucky enough that the summer issues of red tide and algae weren't issues either time. The beach does get really crowded and parking can be an issue but again we got lucky and someone was pulling out when...More

Maybe it's not fair that I give this beach 2 stars as my husband and I were there during the terrible red tide. There were so many dead fish lying scattered across the shoreline for miles. Not fun to walk along any of the beaches...More
