Lovely venue, blue water (no one in it) people enjoying the weather, friendly and clean. Definitely recommend as a family outing spot. There was a nice shelter to sit out of the sun with a view to the beach, and showers for folks to rinse...More

Every year on our annual trip to Florida we make a point to have a day at the beach here! You can fish, boogie board, go shelling and just relax! The beach is not very wide which is great when you are lugging sand toys,...More

Wonderful beach, warm and shallow enough to wade out and enjoy. Shelling on Sanibel is better but still wonderful here. Sunshine in morning with several days of clouding up in the afternoon to make it a perfect day.

Pay to park. $2/hr in Feb. Lots of shells but plenty of sandy beach area. Kids had a BLAST! Wander down a bit from Doc's/public parking if you want a quieter area. Plenty of "shelters" near the parking lot with picnic tables and grills. Wish...More

I try to walk this beach every morning when we are down here. I usually do this at about 8:30 a.m. The beach is clean and beautiful. At that time it isn’t crowded and you can enjoy the solitude. Parking is $2 for an hour.

Soft sand, great for sunset. There are showers and bathrooms for the public, but get there early in season as parking is somewhat limited.

Parking is very minimal and paying by the hour. Get there very early in the morning if you want a space! Easy access to beach. Can be very crowded on weekend. Food availability is minimal.

They have designated parking spots for the public beach, among all the beautiful homes. If you don't find a parking spot in 1 spot, keep driving and there are several.
