Took the boat from the Hyatt to the beach. Nice sand and warm water. Found a bunch of sand dollars. It's a nice beach but a bit isolated and not as nice as Sanibel or Captiva.

We have been to little hickory several times and have found it fairly uncrowded with good water access. Parking is nearby with 3 lot options so increased chance of finding a spot, and bathrooms nearby.

If you long for a beach away from the crowds, Little Hickory is the place to go! Great unspoiled beaches and zillions of shells!

free parking and beautiful beach with washrooms that are very clean. Great place to collect a wide variety of shells. Not busy even during busiest times.
