Beach Trip

Best beach to take the kids for a day. You can snorkel on the rocks at high tide and see all kinds of tropical fish. A MUST if visiting Florida.

Nice clean beach for swimming and sun bathing. Good basic amenities and well maintained. Close to Gumbo Limbo turtle reserve and restaurants.

Don't waste your time or money at red reef park. The beach is pretty but so are all the other beaches in south Florida. There is no reef to snorkel, no concessions, the picnic area is in the parking lot with no view of the ocean and they charge $18.00 for admission to the park. There are plenty beaches with... More

living in the area for 15 years now I always find my way to Red Reef Park to enjoy the park and beach area. I love fishing so I spend a lot of time fishing off the beach here. The beach is pristine and the water is clean and blue. A great place to relax and enjoy a good book.... More

I've visited this park several times. Overall, I would say that it is a nice park, and an excellent place to spend the day with family and friends. Frankly, I've never been impressed with the beach. There are very nice facilities including showers, a playground, abundant guarded parking, and covered picnic areas. However, I feel that the price to enter... More

This beach is clean, well-maintained and has plenty of rest rooms and parking spaces. If you have a home there, you can purchase a tag for your car. Otherwise, it is pretty pricey at 18.00 per day. Never too crowded and there are lifeguards on duty. Highly recommended.

We only visited this park shortly ... the beach is beautiful and the walking trails seemed nice. I thought the parking price was a bit steep but otherwise very good!

Just had an hour to see the ocean.Friendly staff rented us chairs and umbrellas and came around to check that we were happy and came back to tell us the time as we had no watch or phone with us.

Great place to tour and look at the flora and fauna. This area offers lots of great opportunities to walk, people watch and enjoy the nature that surrounds this excellent part of Florida.
