Was looking forward to our visit with guest. when we pulled into parking lot we were the only car.......the visitor center was closed. It was a Monday so we understood that. We decided to go for a walk on the boardwalk. The boardwalk is in need of updating , erynrough in area. The trees and bushes seemed very unkept and... More

Nice little boardwalk nature walk in a larger all purpose park. First a butterfly garden, then the walk starts over a bay filled with fish, including pirhanas, and at least seven very large turtles, meaning from at least about 24 inches to about 30 inches in diameter. The rest of the boardwalk is through a swampy marsh filled with different... More

This little nature center and trail has quite a few charming aspects about it and is worth a stop in your travels in Boca Raton. The center has some hands on nature displays and interactive ones as well. Also a Discovery Center . The walking path is a raised boardwalk just short of a mile the total distance. The are... More

This is a nice little nature center with really great volunteers! Profesisionally done interactive display inside the center. We met Fritz the Tortoise and Artemis the adorable and playful Screech Owl! Nice butterly garden and short but nice boardwalk. One waterway had several large turtles and waterfowl to enjoy.

Dagger wing is just the place for a cool, sunny Sunday afternoon. You can take the short or the long course and the overhead perches offer a scenic view of the area.

My husband and I went to the park for a friendly stroll on a beautiful day. The Nature Center is closed on Sunday, but we still enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the boardwalk and the overlook nearby. The park is huge, with many lakes and amenities. Daggerwing is just a small piece of this lovely county park.

Good place to take your toddler for a natrue walk on a cool day. It is wheelchair and stroller friendly. Bring a camera.

We lucked out with our visit as it was a "festival" day and they had encounters with live animals, a snake was a hit with our youngsters! The displays and interactive exhibits were top-notch.

This was a nice day. Lots of ants made it very hard to enjoy. We couldn't stand in a spot to enjoy the nature without being overwhelmed with what I believe are sugar ants. Non harmful but annoying. Board walks are short. Just turtles in the pond. The center it self only has a few things. Gator feeding was fun... More

The raised boardwalk takes people through the swamp and lake areas. Near the exhibits the flora are labeled. Signs alert the visitor to different habitats and the fauna native to the area. On Thursdays each week the corn snake is fed much to the delight of visitors.
