Went to a concert here. Not really any bad seat in the house. You can also purchase alcohol. Servings are a bit small but strong.

This is a great place and a Wilmington gem. It is a Victorian era opera house that was completely restored in the 1980s. It remains beautiful today. They feature a great lineup of live performances throughout the year. For the most part, the performers are...More

Been to the Grand to see some really awesome shows and performances! Every seat in the house is a great seat and the atmosphere is just so comfortable!

Be ready to hear some of the finest accoustics anywhere. A single violin fills the house with beautiful music. Go on line to find so many offerings from symphonic concerts to Opera. Worth the trip from Philadelphia.

Wonderfully historic venue with amazing acoustics. Show after show of delightful entertainment. Located in the center of Wilmington, walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Perfect for a memorable night out.

I had the pleasure of seeing Puccini's Suor Angelica (Sister Angelica) there. Intimate venue that's been restored/maintained in the ways you'd hope these old venues are. Lot's of great dining near by. There are also a lot of friendly safety patrol people always around (look...More

Great time ! Had lots of fun. The anticipation to see if my name was called to "come on down" was exciting! Staff was very helpful. Not a bad seat in the house. Would definitely go again.

In the 20+ years that we've lived in Wilmington, Delaware we've enjoyed a nice variety of family-friendly performances at The Grand Opera House. It's a sweet gem in the heart of Wilmington's vibrant Market Street area that -- well maintained and attracts great shows.

Casual. People dress in anything between jeans and dressy. Most seem to dress on the nice casual side. Nice slacks or skirt for women. Khakis and a button down for men and you will be dead center.

Yes, it is. I am sure it is named in honor of Garret and Tatiana Copeland or one of their family members. They have been generous benefactors of the Grand
