Great atmosphere

I recently went to World Cafe Live for a production. It has a great armopshere, great sound and there is not a bad seat in the downstairs area. This venue has an upstairs and... read more

This was an exciting place to see live entertainment. Had standing room only until they opened the balcony area which was truly wonderful. The bands we saw were locals and were some of the best we have seen.

went here on a recommendation whilst on a recent business trip. Its always good to have an outlet for local musicians and they do a good job at providing this platform. The issue is always - to find a real diamond you have to shift through alot of coal. The line-up on the night was 50/50 good and bad. I... More

I recently went to World Cafe Live for a production. It has a great armopshere, great sound and there is not a bad seat in the downstairs area. This venue has an upstairs and downstairs where two different events can happen simultaneously. The food selection was very limited to buffet style but gave guests enough options to satisfy their palette.... More

We had a great time seeing a concert at the Queen. The restoration is beautiful, and the view and the sound was fantastic from our seats. We did not eat so I can't comment on the food but they did have a full bar. We would definitely return for another show.

This was a cool way to see live music but just be knowledgeable about the seating arrangements. I paid extra for what I thought were close-up balcony seats and ended up at a table in the second tier or the balcony, row E. Two other couples were also surprised. None of the women could see the stage seated behind the... More

At least the city of Wilmington, otherwise known as murder town has something going for it. It is The World Cafe Live at The Queen. We did not partake in the food or drink, but the venue is outstanding. I've only been to downstairs shows. The staff is friendly and helpful, the acoustics and sight lines are great. A wonderful... If you love live music, the Queen has two great options. Upstairs for smaller events and food, and downstairs for larger shows. I have been to see several events - Kermit Ruffins, Robert Cray, Sonny Landreth and others and the small size makes for a very up close experience. Full bar with lots of craft beer selections. Come out and... More

I was curious about the Queen in Wilmington since i frequent World Cafe Live in Philly. I decided to use Kiefer Sutherland as my reason to go there. He was great but this isn't a concert review. We were downstairs and the room is fabulous. The acoustics were good and the most of the staff were friendly. HOWEVER, the service... More
