One of my favorite things to do is to walk the length of the board walk (approximately 1 mile), up and back, early in the morning before the crowds take over the beaches and walk ways scaring off the wildlife and obscuring the ocean views....More

It's nice to have free parking in the winter and park right up at the boardwalk and visit the shops that are open in the cold months. It's nice for a brisk walk without a crowd, watch the waves rolling in and still do some...More

HIt this up early in the morning before everyone and their uncle are out there. Benches provide a nice view of ocean.

They've done a great job along this boardwalk, I think evidenced by it even being well-populated on a colder March day (when other neighboring beach areas are totally empty). There seems to be a good compromise between totally overrun with touristy gimmick storefronts and actual...More

Rehoboth Beach boardwalk is a fun stretch of sand and boards along a one square mile strand on the Atlantic Ocean in Delaware. A year-round resort town makes fall and winter a rare treat for visitors who enjoy the beach in cooler weather. Dog walking...More

Most of the stores and restaurants are open until Halloween and then they slowly start to drop off, although a good number are open year round.

Yes, they are a very short walk to the boardwalk. When you're in the area, suggest that you explore Lewes and the nature boardwalk and trail at the Prime Hook Wildlife Refuge. Ducks and geese are starting to show up.
