firstly, I would like to say that we own a motorhome and have travelled extensively thru Eastern USA and Canada. This campground is definitely not a tent-friendly campground. It is wide open, no shade, and quite crowded. You are hemmed in on two sides by...More

I kind of ignored the reviews...but don't. They should close this place to tent camping. It is one big parking lot of RV's and there is no nature to view. There is this huge concrete mess of construction within a stone's throw. My friends were...More

We stayed for two nights at the Delaware Seashore State Park campground in a tent and it was poor. There is zero shade, the sites are small, and there is no privacy. The bridge next to the campground is under construction, which makes it noisy....More

The park campground is simply unlovely. It's an RV park 100 m from the highway. This time of the year, there were no bugs, and the amenities were fine. If you're tent camping, go to Cape Henlopen!

Delaware Seashore State Park is a wonderful place to visit. We camp in an RV and it is the only Delaware State Park to offer full hook ups which is very helpful! The sites are pull through style and have a paved surface. The balance...More

My husband and I tent camped here for one night. Although they do not allow campfires (which is a MAJOR downer, in our opinion), we liked this campground. It was quiet, I think the ranger did a nice job of keeping the place managed. It...More

This is the worse place to camp. I have only complaints because there really was nothing wonderful about this campground. We were camping in tents for the weekend. This place is so buggy and there is no shade so if you go, take your RV...More

if you would enjoy camping in a 20'x40' sand lot with tents on 5' on each side of you and paying $34 a night for the privilege, then by all means go ahead. I didn't sleep well because you would hear: neighbors conversations, lights glaring...More

Admission (2007) is now $8 per car, but it is good all day and is good for the entire park (not just the beach). The best beach in Delaware by far! Gradual entry into the water (unlike Rehoboth or OC), large waves further out suitable...More

Yes you can. Once you buy a ticket it is good for the day in any park. So go get lunch and come back. Although, there really are not nearby reasonable lunch places. You might want to use snack bar near trailer park, or just... More

If you are in the resort towns, there is metered parking but the State Park has a payment stand at each entrance. You can buy an Annual Pass at most State of Delaware park entrances. I hope that helps.

Don't go there. It is what you describe that you do not want. It is a big parking lot near a major and noisy bridge. Lots of traffic. The campers do look like they have been there for years. There are several campgrounds... More
