Now that the trail runs a full 17 mile circle, it is an amazing way to walk, run or bike around Lewes and Rehoboth Beach. The trail id wide and well maintained. Mileage markers let you know how far you have gone. You can catch the trail at Cape Henlopen State Park on the Lewes side, Gordon's Pond on the... More

This repurposed railroad track is a flat easy 5 mile path between Lewes and Rehoboth Beach, and part of Cape Henlopen State Park through wooded areas and marshlands, its an enjoyable place for walkers, hikers, bikes. There are some interpretive markers along the way. Trail access in Lewes is from Kings Highway opposite the Cape Henlopen High School or from... More

This is a fine trail for walking or biking, and very popular. You can travel from Lewes to Rehoboth Beach with no interaction with cars except at several places where the trail crosses a road. The surface varies from hard pavement to packed dirt with crushed stone. The entire trail is more than 6 miles long, but there are several... More

Very nicely designed and maintained trail for walking a/o biking. Highly recommended. Good and free parking available behind a shopping center and at other locations along the route. Can walk/bike all the way from Rehoboth to Lewes, if you're up to it.

We didn't do the whole trail. We had children ages 4 and 6 riding with us. We got on at the outlets and went to Lewes. It was mostly flat and easy. Mostly shaded. The trail was very relaxing and everyone we passed was friendly. But the best part were the views of the salt marshes! Very beautiful!

Great biking trail or walking. Partial shade, level and great birding in a long section. This is a fun way to travel from Rehoboth to Lewes (the back way), continue on to the ferry and then into Henlopen State Park. You can loupe thru Henlopen going south, continuing on around Gordon Pond and coming out in Rehoboth. A great activity.... More

On nice days, I typically ride the Gordons Pond Trail from Rehoboth to Lewes, and then take the Junction and Breakwater Trail back. It's an excellent loop that takes you through salt marshes, forest, farm lands, beach, historic downtown Lewes, and (a bit) of suburban sprawl. The Junction and Breakwater Trail itself is pretty wide in most places. Some portions... More

If you're visiting the Lewes state park make sure you bring your bike. This trail goes all the way from Lewes to Rehoboth and takes you from the Beach, through marshlands and into Rehoboth where you can have a great craft beer at Revelation Brewery which is at the end of the trail before turning back. The views are amazing... More

Went for the16 mile ride, ended up being 26 miles due to some poor signage, but still worth it, lovely scenery, and wide bike trails most of the way!
