This place is very historical. I love coming here for afternoon walks to think and clear my mind. Only thing is you have to watch out for goose poop that will occasionally pop up on the pathway.

Pretty walk along water, playground for children. You can watch geese and boats from benches or picnic table. One small parking area and one larger one a little further down street. Dog walkers don't seem to clean up after their pets, sad !! Otherwise it's...More

Large park for walking and dogs allowed. Several restaurants in the area. Usually a vendor on the weekend with soda, water and hot dogs. Closed at dusk

Great walk by the river with great views. Also walk through the town of Old New Castle and have few snacks. love Nora Lee's.

Very nice not to busy miles of walking trails and a great place to look for sea glass! Very dog friendly, near lots of historical landmarks, shops,& restaurants.

No swimming there anymore. Used to be a long time ago. Too much debris floating in the water and it's not very clean.

I'm not sure about how to reserve for a wedding. I would suggest trying to look it up under city of New Castle , DE .

There are restrooms. There is also a park area with swings, sliding boards. There's a large open , grassy area for picnics. Some picnic tables. You can often see large tanker ships along the water.
