Worth a visit!

This little house, transported to Lewes, is made interesting mostly by the docent, who gives the few displays and photos a great assist. Worth a half hour.

This little house, transported to Lewes, is made interesting mostly by the docent, who gives the few displays and photos a great assist. Worth a half hour.

The house was moved to the current spot and is now a visitor center of the town. Nice herbs garden and tulips during the tulip festival and the Lewes garden tour,

Located next to the Zwaanendael Museum, this relocated home offers some historic information about the house and a lot about the town.There is a garden with fountain out back and a detached modern building houses restrooms.

The Fisher-Martin house was built in 1730 and now houses the visitor center for Lewes, Delaware, a delightful, historic town well worth visiting. When you enter this house you are confronted with artifacts, paintings, maps, and all sorts of information about the area. The house is restored on the ground floor and begs for a leisurely stroll around the few... More
