Cape Henlopen State Park is the best! It has so much to offer. The Atlantic Ocean, the beach, a concession stand (in summer only), playground, walking and biking paths, frisbee golf, a nature center and more! We are locals and just love frequenting this park.

Delaware State Park, buy an annual pass and enjoy clean beaches and great sights. Christmas time they have a light show that you drive through. Wonderful. Always clean and fun place

This beach is the closest thing to a Cape Cod beach in the mid Atlantic. Dunes, ocean and bay beach, biking, hiking, and swimming. Natural, no boardwalk.

The Cape Henlopen State Park is truly a remarkable place. The parking for out of state cars costs $10, for Delaware registration $5. There is indeed ample parking in a few locations. Some of the maps are inaccurate and there are areas somewhat confusing. It...More
