I have lived here for years and have enjoyed going to this park for years. However in recent years( summers) I limit my visits to the park because of the rude people that are visiting this park. They disrespect the park and the people who live here. The park really needs to figure out a way to control the amount... More

in the spring and summer, i am in the park almost every day. I bike from cape to Rehoboth and back to Lewes on the parks trails. You can also walk and bird watch. Best park in the area!

The state park boasts one of the best beaches, and fun places to explore. Walking up to the top of the observation towers, or exploring old army bunkers are fun things to do with a family. Taking a bike ride through the huge park provides lots of opportunity to see natural wildlife. It's easy to make a day of this... More

This park is beautiful with nice beaches and a bathhouse. They have campgrounds and a military base with rich WW 2 history. We love to bike through here and swim at the beach. The point area is nice on the calm bayside to explore and find shells and creatures. Many people come here to bird watch. It's also fun to... More

We love this park with all it's amenities and activities throughout the year. And bordering the ocean makes it that much more special. Our most recent visit was to see the Wonderfest Holiday Light Show presented as a 'drive-thru' the park event after dark. It was fabulous. (Our only criticism, was that they need to fix what is supposed to... More

Cape, as the park is known locally, does have wonderful sandy beaches and usually moderate surf that is fun for the whole family, but that just a part of what this state park offers. Wonderful wildlife and dune environments and a really interesting history of lifesaving, quarantine station, sunken ships, World War II bunkers (one is a museum), and even... More

My husband and I missed the noon ferry to Cape May so we decided to explore the park. We are very happy we did. It was so exciting to see the tower, the views from the tower, and my husband's favorite Battery 519. I think my husband took a picture next to every single rifle and was very excited to... More
