Nice easy hike!

Easy parking and the main trail is a nice loop around beautiful country. It is paved all the way, so wheel chair friendly.

I was visiting nearby Mt Cuba about a month ago when I passed this Preserve. I was fortunate enough to visit yesterday on a beautiful warm Indian summer day. I can only hope that heaven will be as gorgeous as this Preserve. I hiked All 4 trails and even climbed the big hill for Hawk Watching. I also totally enjoyed... More

Hiked today on a number of trails. There was a group doing a hawk watch, and they were excited that they saw an eagle today. A real jewel in the area, recommended.

If you like to walk and view nature, this is the place to do it. The trails are excellent and well-maintained. We visited twice while in the area and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our teenage nephew also enjoyed it. It's also a great place to walk your dogs.

We visited Ashland for the first time today and really enjoyed it. We only saw a couple of their trails, but the ones we saw were well-maintained and beautiful. We also got to see some wildlife--a groundhog, tons of birds, butterflies, etc. We heard several bullfrogs too, but didn't manage to catch a glimpse of them. The price is very... More

I went as a chaperone to my daughters fifth grade class, we had several structured learning activities set up by the nature center, as well as down time scheduled in for the kids and parents to relax. The facility is cozy and functional and stands up well to constant use from very active groups of kids.

Wonderful place. Many different kinds of trees, shrubs and flowers - unbeatable. The whole trekking was very enjoyable, and you get a good exercise. The center has two wings if sleeping places - dormitory style. In the middle, cooking and food place. You can stay overnight with friends, families. This is a real jem for nature lovers. For kids, there... More

I've had a very positive experience at Ashland. The nature center is operated by the Delaware Nature Society. They do an outstanding job providing education for children and adults. They have a large variety of camps, both overnight and day, for kids. The feedback on the camps is outstanding. The programs for adult are varied to include everything from a... More

We have been members for many years and enjoy hiking here. They offer great programs and host wonderful birthday parties at the Nature Center and nearby Coverdale Farm.

There are several shorter trails here that are great for a quick evening walk with my dog. It's always nicely maintained, parking is easy, trails are clearly marked and best of all, it's usually not crowded. We come here a couple times a week for our walks and just love it. It's one of my favorite spots in the area!

Thank Andrea C
