Being this far north and in a bay it was what I expected. Relaxing place to just walk along in the sand. It was quiet and nobody bothered us There are parking spots on the north side of the road as you pull up. Port-o-potty is by the parking spots.

If you understand what you are getting into, this beach is interesting. Yes, it is very small and non-resident parking is limited (park to the left as you go in, not on the road that runs parallel to the beach), but I've never seen it full or overly crowded. I recommend it for folks that enjoy nature (birds, horseshoe crabs,... More

Don't waste your time going to this beach as it is private for residents! All the signs at beach indicate that it is illegal to Park and your car will be towed away!

Great walk on the beach. The crab season was over so there were a few dead ones laying around but plenty of shells and not many visitors.

It was terrible. Alllllll the dead horseshoe crabs were all over and the beach was just nasty and very small. The water was brown and dirty and if a fish did live there they would dead too. Close to Dover downs but t was not worth the drive.

Very quite small beach. I would say this beach is more for fishing or seeing the horseshoe crabs. Not big waves so that is a plus. We did see a small shark while watching the water. Saw people fishing and people that live there walking their dogs. A lot of stones not many shells. Now the could do without part.... More

I love nature and can find beauty in so many places but this was a disappointment. Nothing but piles of dead horseshoe crabs and stinky brown water. It was not a pleasant place for a walk.

This want good for us. Most of the crabs were dead on the beach and stunk. There are better beaches in the area.

Stopped here simply by accident on a weekday morning in late May. Just followed the signs from the main road. To my surprise and amazement, there were thousands of horseshoe crabs crowded onto the shoreline. There was a naturalist there running a field trip and he explained that it was horseshoe crab mating season. Along with the tourists, I helped... More
