Great look at US military aviation history from WWII forward. Knowledgeable guides, wonderful exhibits, full size aircraft on display. All this offered free of charge. Easy way to spend 2-3 hours on cold, windy, winters day. Prolly better in warm weather.

Should have done my homework, I would have known they are closed on Mondays. Able to drive the fenced perimeter. Can't wait to see the whole experience.

There's a lot to take in here, and you can't help... More

This place has a wide variety of transport and refueling aircraft that you can go right up to and touch. You can even get on many of them! The volunteers are very informative and accommodating. Lots of neat history here. The inside of the C5 is amazing! And you can't beat the price - FREE!

My wife and I visited this museum while in Dover. I'm retired USAF. One of the best military museums I've been too. Excellent collection of USAF aircraft, and military history. Excellent staff of volunteers that take very good care of the aircraft. Several are open for viewing. We were checking out the B-17 inside the hangar and listened to the... More
