Experience local history of the past. You will learn the answers to questions you hadn't ever thought about, but will become ah-ha moments to retell especially to your grandchildren for their enlightenment.

Found this interesting to tour for 1/2 hour. Gardens were nice too but only 5 min walk around. If you have nothing else to do then go here.

Recently attended a Revolutionary War Re-enactment at this lovely 18th Century setting. Two homes to visit and beautifully restored gardens by Jekyll. Worth a Saturday or Sunday trip and can check out the lovely village of Woodbury Ct and its Antiques Trail at same time.

Museum wasn't open when we visited but the garden surrounding the house was lovely. A little tricky to find but a pleasant stop.

We went to see the garden, which is small, but the house tour had good historical significance and there were unusual beds, a marvelous original indigo quit that looked brand new but was soo old, an odd blood letting device etc. Pictures, furnishings and guide's...More
