Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Staff were helpful, friendly, and courteous. The courses were excellent (but that barrel element needs to go - bad on the knees and not fun :)) The courses were challenging and fun however I don't see me ever being able to work up to the black level courses! Blue is challenging enough! We had fun.

Excellent experience. Staff was very friendly and there was a great variety of courses for all skill levels. Very organized and family friendly. I have been to two other ropes courses in CT and liked this best. Reccomend buying the all day passes on Groupon. Great value and you won't feel rushed.

Came on a date with my husband yesterday. We're 40-ish and had such a fun time. The variety of the courses makes the experience enjoyable for all ages, and the upbeat attitudes of the staff and visitors + beauty of being outdoors left us very happy with how we spent our afternoon. Thanks for providing such a unique activity! The kids are jealous we didn't bring them, so we'll definitely be back on a family adventure soon. :)
Looks like a nice location to hang out even if your whole party isn't climbing. Lots of picnic tables, paths, and complimentary wi-fi.
Note for newbies: I didn't get any pictures because I wasn't sure if my phone qualified as a "loose item." I do think it could easily fall out of a back pocket, so probably best that I left it in the car. In hindsight, wish I had brought a small sling bag or worn a vest with pockets.
Special shout-out to Jesse: we were so impressed with your leadership and communication. "That guy deserves a promotion," I thought, so I'm very happy to see you are, in fact, the park manager! They're lucky to have you.

It was well organized and fun for all ages and body types. I went with a small group of teens. The guides were patient and responsive. If anyone got in trouble they were quick to help. They had courses for all ability levels, little kids, older but not as fit people all the way through master climbers! I was able to climb through 4 different courses within the 2 hr time frame. I would recommend either bringing or buying the leather climbing gloves (I'm glad I did).
If you don't want to climb you can participate in 1 hr of axe throwing or sit in front of a fire. You can bring your own food and drinks. They do have snacks and drinks you can buy.
If you bring younger kids you only pay if you go on the course. I saw several people walk beside/underneath them as they made their way through the course.

Watching family and friends enjoying Adventure Park. Some did the Axe Throwing, which was hilarious to watch. Got great pictures! Watching some doing the climbing, which was interesting.
Everyone had an awesome time and yes, they would do it again!

Was an absolute all out BLAST! My son and I had a great time attempting several levels of skill at the park. So much to choose from! I recommend this to anyone who enjoys fun, thrilling adventures and of course, smiling! Could’ve stayed all day & night ! Amazing Staff there to assist at the drop of a dime. Really, a great family friendly thing to do. For literally ANYONE!

Attended with our family, kids ranging in age from 10 to 20 - all of them loved it. Staff were very friendly, present throughout the various levels and knowledgeable. The higher levels definitely required upper body strength to complete and agility.
Next time in Connecticut we will do it again, highly recommend.

What a fantastic place! It's beautiful, clean, safe and so much fun. Above all that, though, is the wonderful staff. I was so incredibly impressed by how helpful and positive everyone was. My 10 year old is very afraid of heights and fearful of trying new things. This was her first time at a ropes course. Jesse spent over an hour with her, patiently encouraging and working with her to take her first step off the platform. And Ryan went through the entire course with her, encouraging and distracting her in all the right ways. My daughter left there so proud of herself and is looking forward to going back! Thank you to Jesse and Ryan for going above and beyond; this was definitely a day she and I will never forget.

Soooo much fun. This was our first time so we hired a guide for the first hour. Eric was great. Just the right mix of help, advice, encouragement and fun! Staff was all pleasant, helpful and very accessible. We are all a bit sore from using muscles we obviously don’t use on a regular basis, but very much worth it.

I will be bringing my 5 grandkids soon for a day. What can a 5 year old do? I bought tickets online for christmas for the 4 oldest. And can i just come or do I have to call ahead?

The minimum age for the regular courses is 7. They offer an "Adventure Playground" for ages 4 & up for $12/hour. Smaller, shorter course which is only 2 feet off the ground.
Also be sure to bring enough adults, some of the courses require an adult on the course depending on the age of the child. Check the rules page on their website for details.

Can younger kids enter the park without doing the zip lines? We were planning a family trip, but have a 6 year old.

Yes, they allow non participants to watch from the ground, take pictures, see participants between trails, etc. but they may require an adult to stay with him due to his age. Might want to give them a call.
