Gorgeous nostalgic crossing. The ferry only takes four vehicles so there may be a wait, but it's an unsurpassed view if the river and preserves a piece of new England history.

I jut across the Connecticut River with my grandchildren on the way to Rose's Berry Farm to pick blueberries. The ride is quick and charming. There are faster ways to get there but this is FUN.

Very relaxing ride on the Connecticut River and a great way to get off of the highway. You might wait to a few minutes on either side but it's worth it.

The park is an excellent place to visit. The boat launch has 3 lanes, so boats can get in and out quickly. There's a dock for fishing and a couple for tying up your boat while getting ready to head out onto the river. Nearby...More
