We to see the museum and the faerie kingdom both were quite beautiful and magical. The grounds were well maintained and manicured. My only complaint is the placement of a huge gay rainbow flag in the midst of the faerie displays. I respect all people...More

I use to live in Old Lyme while stationed at Groton, Connecticut. Never knew they had a museum. Different priorities in those days it seems. The single lady proprietor of the rooming house was a lover of art. Discussions with a visiting New York artist...More

I love everything about it. The setting on the Lieutenant River is amazing. The gardens are beautiful and the museum will exceed your expectations. It's a jewel.

This is a very interesting, informative and lovely place. The house was nicely kept with some of the original furniture. It was the Old Lyme Art Colony in the early 20th century and has an interesting history. The art museum had a refreshing variety of...More

Dogs area allowed on the grounds and the parking lot has areas that are shaded, so if you are visiting the museum on a cool day, you can safely leave the dog, while you visit the exhibits.
