Great for the kids

I have taken my nieces there and they have a ball! Especially with the water area. You can spend a half a day there easily. Great fun and a learning experience.

This is a great place for little kids. However the prices are outrageous. It is $15 per person for children and adults alike. So, for a family with 2 kids it is $60 to get in the door for a children's museum !! I would not go back unless there is a significant change in the admission fees .

Dear Guest, Thank you for your valued feedback. We do offer some great and affordable membership packages. With a family of four, a basic membership would pay for itself after just 2 visits! Some of the benefits of our packages are unlimited general admission for one year, discounts on birthday parties, and a discount at our café and museum store.... More

We literally just left stepping stones my family and I had a great time with the exception of one thing...two people who work there Sean and Berry. Both of them were standing in the water room throwing the balls into the hurricane vortex, another patron asked them to stop bc every time they missed it was zipping by her face... More

It was expensive. And except for the water room - which we spent almost all of our time, my niece (age 4) was pretty bored with it all.

Yes the admission price is a bit high for what the location is but if you happen to get a Groupon or Amazon deal then that helps. They do have events where admission is free and you donate if you wish so keep that in mind. And if you are local then the membership price is worth it. Like i... More

I have been twice now. I joined the first visit because it is very expensive to pay each time. The membership is totally worth it if you're local. The high admission price sticks in my craw a bit on principal (and why i didn't go sooner) but my kids (4 years old and 17 months old boys) love it so... More

I don't understand all the good reviews for this place. Ill start with pros : Its clean. The water room is pretty cool. There is a cafe. On the other hand : this place is WAY OVERPRICED, often crowded & quite small. Stepping Stones charges $15 per person. The BOSTON children's museum - which is several floors of fun -... More

I went to Stepping Stones with my husband and 15 month old daughter. It seemed like a nice way to spend a wintery Saturday and let my daughter get some of her energy out. We knew going there that it would cost us $45 as a family to get in but I had never been and hoped the trip would... More

We took our 20 month old grandson. What a beautiful museum. Plenty to do, something for all ages. The museum is well planned and organized. I plan to return again soon. If you live nearby it's well worth buying a membership. Helpful hint- bring an extra set of clothes for your kids. There is a water play room. The kids... More
