I've shopped here since the 70's when you could by "cut-out" records for a great price. The store is now run by the daughter of the original owner and a recent experience has completely turned me off. I stopped in to check out t-shirts for my grand-daughters and the selection was a bit lean. No big deal as it is... More

I used to visit this store as a kid when it was called Tumbleweed Connection. I'd buy records and stickers and pins and other cool stuff. Well, these days it's called Tumbleweeds and they still have amazing music (LPs & CDs), plus colorful bohemian clothing, cool accessories, and much more. Plus, the people there are super nice which makes shopping... More

This place is my favorite shop in the area. I drive a half hour because I know I am not only getting awesome stuff, but I am supporting a business I believe in. I love the smell, there is always great music playing, the vibes/energy is awesome! I highly recommend Tumbleweeds.

By far the best selection of affordable music on all formats in southern New England. Knowledgable staff, great selection and great prices. Very highly recommended for jazz, blues and rock. A great place to find obscure and unexpected gems.

Great 60's store filled with period clothing, other paraphernalia, and lots of music both in CD and vinyl. Don't miss it!

I called to inquire about a limited edition item. A Tumbleweeds employee confirmed the availability and quoted a specific price. When I arrived the next morning to purchase the item, there was no price tag on the item nor any signage indicating the price. When the owner learned that I was paying in cash, she quoted a total amount with... More

Tumbleweeds kinda reminds you of the "headshops" of the 60s and early 70s - the incense, some tie-dye and great clothes and accessories from India (and all over the world). Add to that an incredible selection of CDs and records from all genres, particularly blues, jazz, and rock and you have an irresistible combination! It's a great little store, with... More

I found this spot one day while I was killing time in Niantic, CT. I was waiting for a friend who lived nearby to return home. I saw the store & I was curious so I decided to walk in and discovered a shop with a wide range of CD & LP's all throughout the store. My first trip into... More
