Water remains clear and clean owing to efforts of a committee that keeps Lake Waramaug clean and free of invasive plants. Fortunately there are not too many motorboats and their drivers usually behave considerately.

This is a great place to take visitors who are not from New England. I live in CT and at least once a year love to drive around the lake. Its very scenic. We typically also stop at the winery or Hopkins Inn as well....More

Spent a relaxing afternoon at a private beach on the lake with friends. The views were beautiful. It was a nice sunny day and we all really enjoyed ourselves.
