This is a beautiful green for the most part, and hosts events and farmer’s markets. The historic churches add to the charm. It’s had issues with drug dealing and homeless in the past, but has gotten better. It’s still got some ways to go, but...More

The tents for the Arts Festival were up at one end of the Green. The Chapel Street side is a mess of Bus Stops and homeless folk. In fairness, despite the fact that there were a lot of people who obviously had fairly serious substance...More

This is the place to see some great shows and even greater music on the New Haven Green. Arts and Ideas runs about 15 days with great entertainment for all. Bring the whole family!

New Haven Green is the core of downtown New Haven. It is right next to Yale and close to many historic buildings. Good place for picnic in summer.

Always some kind of festival in the summer. Many open spaces for the dog to roam and explore. Walking distance from the Omni.

A good place to rest and recollect the day's happenings. A green lung in the midst of lovely old buildings.
