I have been doing these tours about every month for over a year. Living in New Haven, I enjoy discovering restaurants I might otherwise never visit. The tour guides are very welcoming and everyone bonds as a group by the end. Colin Caplan is a special treat, offering historical and architectural perspectives of the Elm City as well as knowing... We've been on many foodie tours and this was one of the best! Colin's depth of knowledge, his passion for great pizza and for New Haven made for a wonderful day. We look forward to taking more tours with Colin in the future.

We had a wonderful time strolling from one eating establishment to another. The tour was well prepared and all of the eateries were expecting us and ready. Colin gave a fun and fact filled narrative throughout.

Although I live fairly close to New Haven, I don't go nearly enough. It's such an underrated little city and full of culture. I went on the Theatre District Tour with colleagues and another couple not with our group. We all got along famously - nothing brings together people better than food. We met next to Temple Grill and took... More

This tour of the Latin Quarter was our first and an extraordinary experience for both of us! Six different establishments, a lot of really good food, and alcohol at every stop. Our guide was Colin and he was very knowledgeable and passionate about New Haven history and the places he took us. He even provided a voucher for parking in... More

Hubby and I were gifted A Taste of New Haven; thus, we had no idea what to expect. I'll try to summarize so you will: There are several New Haven neighborhoods from which to choose your "taste" of the city. We chose the Theatre District option for the variety of cuisines offered; we have no regrets. We met our fabulous... More

We appreciate your wonderful and informative review. Given its positive nature, we were surprised to see that you gave us such a low rating, and we are hoping that this was just a mistake. Hope to see you on another tour soon! More

My BF and I read about food tours in many different cities and have always wanted to try one. We live in Brookfield, CT (near Danbury) and decided to try one close to home and after reading the reviews about Taste of New Haven on Trip Advisor, decided to go for it. We're so glad that we did! The Theater District food tour with Natalie this past Sunday was phenomenal! Not only was Natalie well informed and personable and a masterful guide, the restaurants included on the tour were all very good to excellent. The food quality and quantity was better than any tour we've taken. The ahi tuna sliders and hand cut fries at Temple Grill were... More
