We've got a friend who's a student so it was extra convenient to meet him and get a guided walk round and "tour." Checked out the library and the school of management...nice cafe...and enjoyed mooching round the buildings and grounds. It reminded me a little bit of a modern Oxford crossed with Harvard and how bad is that. Also went... More

beautiful buildings.. great architecture.. large campus. Art Museum..everything is there, it is sort of one tourist spot rather than a university. I thoroughly enjoyed roaming this place. The library is so big and beautiful. The art museum has no entrance fee, it has 3-4 floors. the museum has gathered really nice sculpture and information from around the world. Don't forget... More

One of the best places to wander around and experience one of the great Universities with its spectacular Gothic architecture. The campus is spread out over the center of New Haven with its residential college buildings, museums, parks and courtyards. A "must see" in the Fall when the leaves are turning all over campus, and one of our favorite walks... More

Plenty of activities for all including several museums, art galleries and tours of Yale. There is a British and Modern art museum as well as a Natural History museum.

The campus of Yale is the heart of New Haven. These historic buildings are visual delights on the exterior, and many just breathtaking inside. Walking the streets in this part of New Haven is sightseeing - among the campus population, and grand architecture. There is history around every wrought iron gate, small cut-through lane and stained glass! Don't miss driving... More

The campus feels quaint, even though it covers a lot of ground and has an impressive range of facilities. Different architectural styles blend well.

The University is well laid out, though it is very modern in its thinking & facilities retains its Historic values, Driving through you can experience both Ancient & Modern Architecture merging well

My husband and his brother attended Yale for undergrad, so while we were there in December, we took a stroll through the history and stately campus. I was in awe of the ornate architecture and iron gates. Little did I know that Yale sits right in the center of town, as if the town grew around the campus.
