This downtown is so small, you can spend not more than 30-40 min, even if you go to every store. Stores are clean and nice, but again, there are too few of them. Parking is very limited and hard to get.

Spent a Saturday afternoon here checking out the shops. Crowded, but fun. Parking can be a problem. Many places to eat, including Mystic Pizza.

The town is small and can be comfortably walked in an hour or so if you explore everything. There are many nice places to eat and shop, although if you want fine dining you have to leave town IMO. Mystic is quaint and extremely romantic.

A nice little town to mess around in. The shops were great and restaurants wonderful. Everything centers on the river.

This is a very beautiful historic area. Numerous shops for many different tastes. The scenery is breathtaking and the town is very quaint.

I saw many dogs there. I think some of the Inns also allow pets. Have fun with your pooch
