The apple cider here is great. But the apple cider donuts...they never made it home! We went on a Thursday at around 11:45 a.m. and there was no line. We were able to buy cider, donuts and, took part in a tasting next door of wines and such. Family friendly and it is great to see how everything is made.... More

Took a friend who had not been on some of the back roads on SE Connecticut. Our first stop was the Clyde Cider mill. On a Tuesday morning, it was not crowded as it is on weekends, so we had plenty of room to move & browse. While the cider making demonstrations are on weekends, they still press apples every... Well I heard about this place via word of mouth so being new to area I thought I would check it out. I have to say it was ok. I am not sure what was going on but there were long lines going on out both sides of the doors. I waited probably a good 30 to 45 min if... More

The actual mill is only operational a couple of times each weekend day so check their website if you want to see the mill operating. The mill is certainly worth seeing. The store has lots of apple products including some very good freshly baked pastry. We go mainly for their hard cider which comes in over a half dozen flavors... More

Do you like cider? I mean just made? Can buy in different sizes, breads, special butters. They make donuts fresh, plain or sugar coated. Be aware on weekends there are long lines and a wait. We agree the wait is worth it. It is a got to see place. Watch the "pressing of the apples in cider." Our children and... More

Did not realize that they only do the pressing once a day. As a result we missed the pressing to make cider. We were able to go into their shop which sold apple cider donuts. They were pretty good. They also sell apple cider and a variety of Apple wines. The wines are significantly stronger alcohol content than regular wines.... More

My wife and I had a chance to stop by the cider mill while staying in the area. It had been over 20 years since the last time we were there. It was nice to see that, for the most part, nothing had changed. It's a great look at how things use to be and a great place to get... More

We got a recommendation from a carpenter working on a house in Watch Hill, RI. We were staying less than ten miles from the Mill so on this our last day we stopped in. When we first got there there was a tour bus and the mill was not running. But a few minutes later they were gone. We watched... More

Always popular, especially in the fall. Apple cider donuts and apple cider bring in the crowds on the weekends.

We stopped here while in Mystic, and we liked it. The mill was not operating, but a nice little shop with all the usual fall treats. Well worth the trip.
