I stopped by the museum on a Tuesday afternoon. (You have to ring the door bell) I enjoyed my visit and tour. The museum explains the shipping and commercial history of Middletown, which included rum, sugar, slaves, horses, pewter, and porcelain

This beautiful house has a wonderful museum within. The fee is a mere $5 for adults. Early Middletown residents who served in the American Revolution, the Civil War, and the War of 1812 brought home their uniforms and artifacts of war, which their descendants wisely...More
