After living in Manchester for 15 years, finally had the chance to visit here as part of the kids school field trip. The volunteers who provide tours are excellent with the kids and it is fun to see and hear about town history. You should check out what the hours are, but tours are free and definitely worth checking out... More

very interesting. We were taken around the homestead, the museum, and the historical society by the head of the historical society. His enthusiams and kmowledge were impressive

Hey people of Manchester, do you know how fortunate you are to have the Homestead to help educate children and adults about Manchester's rich heritage. Manchester is very lucky to have such an historical treasure .Not only can one see where the Cheneys lived ,but also see the evolution of a GREAT family >Mills ,workers housing ,Cheney homes ,and the town the Cheneys built
