We go here almost weekly to attend Wolf Pack games. The place recently got a metal detector, which makes us feel a lot more comfortable. Very good security, always clean. A nice place to see sports or shows.

UNimpressed! Lines to get in were long, once inside there were MANY unused metal detectors around the concourse. No ushers helping people find sections or seats. I'm used to ushers at the top of each section telling you which side you seats are on, how...More

We went recently for the Disney on Ice show. The XL Center is easy to get to from the highway, and parking is plentiful. Two garages are connected to the Center. Even with the new security measures, easy to get into. Any seat would have...More

I know that the XL center is dated and in need of some upgrades, but we are always satisfied with our experience when we go there. Aside from the ridiculous lines at the ladies' rooms during half time, this is a decent facility that offers...More

Visited tonight with some of our team. The place is in such bad shape the kids were like UConn plays here? I would never pay for suites as the area they are in is like a bad 70’s office building. Looking around the arena seats...More

This place is so out of date! Concourses are so small they jam up with even a moderate crowd. Food and beverage lines further clog the areas. Not enough bathrooms, esp for ladies! Really need to tear this place down and redesign it!

Attended a concert here recently. We purchased lawn seats so I can't speak for the seating. The lawn seating offered a nice location for enjoying the concert. Granted you can't interact with the act, but the sound where we sat was really good. My wife...More

The XL Center in Hartford I find to be a very enjoyable coliseum if you will for both the visual and audible experience you expect when spending your money to enjoy a show.

It's a huge place, but we enjoyed the convenience of staying at the hotel next door which was connected to the venue. It was December and the weather wasn't nice, so that was appreciated. There seemed to be some confusion once we got to the...More

You should have decent visibility from most of the arena (lower bowl and side sections of upper bowl). Of course it may be tough to see from the nosebleeds, especially if you’re in the corners.
