A variety of activities aimed for young children and a few for the adults, our family played here for about 4 hours (this includes our lunch at Subway within the complex). It was a bit packed for President's Day weekend, but lots of fun. Note that admission is free for kids 2 and younger, which was also a plus. If... More

We have brought grandkids here several times. They are easily occupied with the water room and all the interactive stuff to do upstairs. In summer a walk outside with lunch is great.

The CT Science Center is a well thought out adventure for families with an interest in learning while having fun. Lots of different areas with thought provoking exhibits.

Drove 1 hour to visit the science center on Saturday only to find out is closed for 2 weeks for renovations. Before making the drive to the science center I checked the website for directions and parking information. NOWHERE DOES IT MENTION that the center is closed for renovations. Can't review the science center's contents because it was closed.

Hello, I'm sorry that you were not able to visit. We would certainly like to invite you to visit another time. Since January 2, we have had an alert on our website and Facebook page. We also distributed the information through many other communication vehicles. I'm not sure what went wrong here but we would like to help. If it... More

After our first visit we decided to get an annual family membership. The cost of the member ship that allows unlimited visits for 4 members has been a great cost saver. I have brought my grand son three times over the past two months he is three and he is ready to go again. The facility has something for every... More

We brought our kids here, ages 13 and 17 This was our first trip. Everything is hands-on, but as another reviewer mentioned, it seems that everything is designed for elementary school children, and there wasn't really a lot for older children or adults. We enjoyed the sound and motion room the best, and the traveling exhibit (Da Vinci's inventions) was... More

This was a complete disappointment. there is not much to call this a Science Center. don't pay for the movie, it is just a natgeo show with minimal 3D effects. completely over priced. will not be back.

We visited the museum with our young nephews, and we were surprised that we wanted to be there for the entire day. Everyone enjoyed it, and it did not matter if you were young or old. For example, the water room on the first floor was great for the kids to explore, but the parents got into it too--trying to... More

Clearly designed for elementary school field trips. This isn't the Smithsonian, or New York Museum of Natural History or Boston Science Museum. Everything is on a third grade level with garish colors and big knobs for little hands. There are some interesting things and the place has potential but somebody decided that adults are not an important audience.
