This is an awesome place to go to watch ships and boats come and go.There are tables to sit at and eat.There are often walkers or joggers making their circuts around the property.

this is a lovely municipal beach with a snack bar. not much shade, but the water is usually clear and cool.

The beach itself is very nice however, if you are not a Groton resident the parking fee is incredibly high in the "season". Which runs from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
