It's become one of my favorite spots to hang out and relax. Lots of parking. Plenty of walking trails. I like bringing a chair and sitting near the water to watch the activity at the local airport across from it. Just a great place to...More

This is a wonderful park to take a stroll along the CT seacoast. The main hiking path is wide and easy with several trails shooting off to lookouts and the beach at the bottom of the park.

We ran the trails here during the summer. It is a nice and challenging run with the hills. The paths are a bit rough with big rocks in them. You have to look down while running. We just recently went back for a walk/hike there....More

Great park with a lovely area for a hike. Problem is the infestation of Lyme ticks. We only go when the ground is frozen and ticks are dormant. Hike in the winter. Or beware.

We walked the trail to the point and then walked the shore to the end of the spit. There are other trails as well. We enjoyed the birds, the shoreline, the sounds of the surf, and the views. And the walk. Easy walking overall.

I think a leash policy is in place, I saw other people with dogs during my visit.

Would love to travel to Bluff Point State Park. I am happy to hear it is dog friendly. Are well behaved leashed dogs allowed there in the summer months on the beach ? Or just certain areas Thank you for your reply !
