The third largest town beach that you can swim at even at low tide. The beach is more remote than the main beach, at the end of Sasco Hill Road. Limited parking and may be full on weekends. Because it is more remote it is...More

Since we live in Fairfield, my husband and I love to go to Sasko Beach because it's more relaxing than the other beaches in Fairfield. I believe it's due to the fact that there are no available restrooms or concession stands. Less children there, too....More

As others have said, it's "Sasco" not "Sasko" but no matter. This quiet, tucked away beach has the most beautiful views and is a great place to sunbathe, read, dip your toes in the water. During the summer, my church has services at the beach....More

Small, quiet, beautiful beach. Maybe 3 acres total, next to the Country Club. My favorite of all the beaches in Fairfield. Been coming here for years. Snack bar destroyed in Super Storm Sandy replaced. Need a Fairfield sticker to enter; crowded during summer. Nice swimming....More

It's called 'Sasco beach', not 'Sasko', and the pictures associated with this entry are of Southport Beach, which is a different place altogether. Nice little beach, whose main claim to fame is that it faces the location of Westport's July 4th firework display, which allows...More

Third visit to Fairfield from the UK to stay with friends and always take a trip down to Sasko. Although small and doesn't offer a fancy pavilion like Penfield, this beach is quiet, calm and beautiful. Lovely in the evenings or early mornings too. Serene.

A short, wide sandy beach with a beautiful view, a good breeze and a little nature exploration along the inlet at its end - this is the town beach to settle down at for a day by the shore. Heads up for the occasional errant...More

Beautiful, calm beach. You can drive right up and sit in your car. No snack bar and limited (1 stall) bathrooms, so not best for a day long visit.

Sasco is a very small beach that can only be accessed with a Fairfield beach sticker. SailSunJay did a great job of explaining which beach you can buy a day pass for. The exception to Sasco is Sunday morning beach church... More
