Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Went here for the first time with my colleagues for a team building event. I was a little nervous at first, but the staff immediately set us at ease and were super excited about having us there. They were friendly and enthusiastic which I appreciated. There are 3 rooms to choose from and they switch out the themes occasionally. Would love to go back again with friends or family to see the different dynamic.

I took my 3 teenage daughters out for a fun ladies night last night. We were a bit worried going in! Was it going to be scary? Was it going to be too hard? The owner Bryce was fabulous throughout the entire process. He gave us a comprehensive (but not too detailed) briefing before going in. During the hour in Outbreak, Bryce gave us periodic cryptic but helpful clues when we were completely in the wrong direction. Then afterwards spent time debriefing us. The size of the room was perfect to work but not feel overcrowded. The props were graphic and fun. There were both true and false clues to make for a super fun challenge. The girls stated they had a great time and want to return!

I took my son (along with a friend) for his 13th birthday. The boys had a great time. The level of complication was just right...not too hard, not too easy. The room was well appointed and had plenty of things to interact with. The proprietor was very fun to talk to, including showing us the other rooms and showing us some things we missed in our room. I highly recommend!

We experienced the Outbreak room and had a great time. Bryce was friendly and made this escape experience well worth the trip to Danbury. I'd tell you more but it would ruin the surprises.

We never got to go. We had a groupon and tried to find a date and time but they showed full. After numerous attempts and methods to contact them I was disappointed that there was no response.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. Due to overwhelming popularity, we have been fully booked up to several weeks. Unfortunately folks with groupons bought months ago are just now trying to book and not finding availability for several weeks. We are honoring all the groupons bought during the promotional period to accommodate everyone as we are aware of this situation. We try but are not always able to accommodate for a day you need if we are already fully booked (we sometimes can add extra rooms for a day with enough notice.) Please email us at gameofroomsct@gmail.com with your name and cell number and how many people you would like to book with at least 1-2 weeks notice for better success. Thank you and hope you come check us out!

The venue was less than a month old. This was the first time my wife and I participated in puzzle room. We chose the Coven. It was definitely challenging and loads of fun. Initially i was concern with the location within an office building. Going into an office building after hours is creepy in itself but the rooms where creative and very well prepared. The best part was the story line and the guidance from the host which came in as riddles to solve clues. It was an hour well spent. We cant wait to share this experience with our kids during their college break. Lastly, we felt that the logistics of going into NYC would not have added to the experience. While they can handle 6 in a room, I would limit it to 4.

Fun times! Try out the Coven room. My friend did outbreak and thought it was very clever. One hour for the room and then went out to get drinks. Would recommend. Will come back with co-workers hopefully to try another room ;)
