If you are fascinated by exotic animals—condors, poison dart frogs, tortoises, sloths, and scarlet ibises—you will enjoy this small zoo. I don't understand the negative reviews. Anyone who says they spent an hour or less must not have stopped to look at anything; my son...More

I recently visited Beardsley Zoo for the first time. It's mostly oriented towards children which is a good thing, and hopefully they learn something about conservation and respecting animals. However, I found the zoo to be a tad depressing. Some of the enclosures were really...More

Beardsley Zoo has always brought excitement to me when I was a teenager and visited with family and friends, adult with my wife and children and now as a grandparent with grandchildren.

Nice if you live nearby, if not you’re better off driving to the Bronx zoo.. because you can walk this whole small zoo quickly, the Bronx zoo is way bigger with more to offer

Small zoo that takes about an hour to go through. Parking is a nightmare. Pack your own food because even though Cafe has many offerings, service is very slow (45 - 1 hr wait after ordering). They should think about expanding cafe to handle volume....More
