This museum shows much of the history of Stony Creek. They consistly change the themes to reflect the beautiful and unique village. The theme now is "Greating Cards" and it is well presented.

Great history and great staff very knowledgeable. This museum tells the history of the Branford Area and the pink stone quarry. The Base of the Statue of Liberty comes from the pink stone quarry down in Branford. A must see.

the museum is small, but very quaint. The tour person was very informative and It is free! They only take donations. There was an old quarry nearby and they have some cool items displayed.

This delightful museum reflected so much of what makes Stony Creek a special place: long history of hard working skilled trades; beautiful homes and views; honest, forthright people; multi-generations putting down deep roots. I lived in Stony Creek from 1967-1977 and have come to love...More

This museum is in an old firehouse. While not very large, the exhibit that we saw, about the hurricane of 1938 was fascinating. They also had a recently discovered trunk from a quarry worker that was on display. Well worth a look.
