A gem of an old-time movie theater in a converted barn. This is the place to go to see mainstream quality films. Oscar-nominated alongside indie films with smaller scale releases. Two theaters. Limited showings. Fresh popcorn & snacks available. I purchase gift cards for this...More

We often go here to see the latest movies most recently LaLa Land. It is small and basic with not a great screen or sound system but it is adequate. Paid $12 to sit on a folding chair because it was crowded

We live near by and it gets most of the latest movies. They do not really offer any discounts for the kids. The chairs are not the most comfortable but it is just a nice little place.

Great, cozy place, showing films to grown ups .I believe it is one of the oldest movie houses in Ct.

Lovely old fashioned country movie theatre, with two screens, and some carefully chosen indie movies, as well as some more popular ones. So glad a place like this exists. Wish it was closer to my home.

Great selection of current movies and some that are on the 'hard to find' list. Definitely the place locals love.

If you're wondering if there's an alternative to yet another cement movie theater in a shopping mall, head for the Bantam Cinema. As soon as you enter this red wooden New England building, you'll feel that you're more in an inviting home than a one...More

A great little movie theater showing two shows. Make sure you get on their email list for listings and overviews of movies being shown and upcoming. They often feature foreign films as well. And, lots of nice places to eat in Bantam.
