We arrived at the site while traveling from one lake to another in the Bolivian altiplano. There is nothing but this unique view made us awestruck. The loneliness is so charming I cant express. In the distance we found some stone. Over all it makes yourself feel so tiny , so lonely.

A nice desert named after the famous artist. The mountains, their shapes and colours create something unique, with a stop by!

Dali's famous painting by the above title is coincidental to the placement of the rocks in this desert landscape. Surrounded by towering volcanoes the s cene is surreal as wete Dali's paintings. Rocks indiscriminately located on desert sand could easily be the painting by Dali.
You would only be there if you are heading to Bolivia on a tour through the Uyuni region. Great stop and viewpoint

Saw this as part of a 3 day Uyuni trek. The colors and otherworldliness have to be seen to be believed. But the trip itself is not for the infirmed or faint of heart. Altiplano, at over 10,000 feet, gets very cold at night and none of the places to stay have any heat, just lots of blankets
