I have played golf all over the US - private clubs, resorts and public courses. This is not Augusta but it is a lovely well run and well maintained public course with different tees to challenge golfers of all abilities. They are currently completing a spacious and attractive new clubhouse.

Combining two high mountain activities into one afternoon is such a great idea! The mountain bikes are equipped with saddle bags to carry the golf clubs, and you ride from hole to hole. The golf bags have a cooler pouch - really quite efficient! Bikes were in great working order, and it added a really fun element to a beautiful... More

Nice muny course, good price and challenging round. What we liked most were the beautiful par 3s with several having significant elevation changes and another with a narrow treelined over water shot. Course was in good shape, pro shop provided friendly ,helpful service and were able to get tee times we requested. Will definitely return if in Vail again.

This public course is in excellent condition. But it has wonderful views and different challenges on each hole. The course runs along the Vail Valley floor about a mile east of Vail township and village. You can walk, bride or use cart. We used a cart and had a most enjoyable afternoon. We play bogey golf and we were able to... More

Great staff in the Pro Shop and restaurant/bar. Enjoyed lunchbefore our round. Better than average muni course. Flat. But challenging. Clubhouse renovation scheduled to begin September 2015.

This course is pretty challenging playing from the tips. They do have carts and they charge extra to use them, you can walk or ride a bike with bag holder. I lost a club while playing and the ranger went to get it for me. The par 3's were pretty neat with several elevation changes throughout the course. MAKE SURE... More

This course runs along the Vail Valley floor. A few water carry holes. Several long par fours (400 plus). Greens are fast and hard to hold. Very challenging but not a lot of holes with vertical drop.

The Vail Golf Club is located in the Vail valley. You can see it easily from I-70. Most of the Vail area courses are hilly and virtually impossible to walk. This course is very walkable and they even rent push carts. The greens fees vary based upon the season and time of day. 9 hole rates are also available. Tee... More

Beautiful scenery and fun course. Staff helpful and friendly. We used a cart. The couple we played with walked. I wouldn't recommend that. But they do have golf bikes that looked like fun!

This is a nice fun course. It's not too difficult for mid and higher handicappers and let's you be right out there in the beautiful surroundings.
