Visited for an afternoon of cross country skiing. $10.00! What? In Vail? I know, seems like it costs $10.00 to breathe the air here! The staff were very helpful and friendly. Miles and miles of groomed trails. It is in the valley and follows along...More

If you are a snow shoe expert or never put them, ask the Director, Nate for help and he will make you experience a great one. His knowledge is at a Mt. Everest level and teaches you how walk (in snow shoes) once again. Great...More

The Vail Nordic center can help you with everything to get started cross country skiing. Their pro shop is awesome and customer service is great. However they also rent so you don’t have to buy, you can try both styles of skinny skis first before...More

Great place to snow shoe and cross country ski. Friendly staff, excellent facility, good rental equipment. Trails clearly marked. Spent 3 days here. Hot chocolate upstairs afterwards. Not overly expensive. No senior discounts.

Truly a great alternative to have in the heart of downhill ski country! They offer a very nice nordic shop, rentals, and trails. We snowshoed and fat-biked at this facility and enjoyed both activities immensely. Very well run with courteous staff.

Had fun my first time cross country skiing... Rebecca was a great teacher. I just wish the trails were clearly marked. Other than a map, there were no markers. I was a tad intimidated wondering if I would end up on the wrong trail. Other...More

We rode the shuttle from our hotel to the Vail Nordic Center. They did, however, seem to have ample parking if you prefer to drive. We paid $10 each for a pass. We snowshoed for about 90 minutes on nicely groomed trails on a lovely...More
