The views on this hike were amazing! We were only able to hike about 1.5 miles up due to ice and mud, but it was beautiful while it lasted!

The initial portion of the climb can be very steep. About 2 miles up the trail is a 60 foot waterfall, but you must be very close to the stream to view it.

It took me two hours to get to the waterfall. The hike there was moderate but the rest of the hike to the lake was hard. It took me 4 hours total to get to the lake but wow...it was worth it. It's beautiful! It...More

I was very hesitant to do this hike, but peer pressure got me out of my comfort zone and up to a beautiful water fall. Given the elevation climb, take the hike slowly, and take many short "catch your breath" breaks. It isn't a hike...More

Do the whole thing! You've traveled all this way, and may not be here again. The trail actually runs up to Booth Lake. Booth Falls is about half way. Don't cheat yourself. While the Falls is a great place to stop after a nice little...More

Beautiful falls to see but they are so close to the Vail Ski Area that the trail is packed , not my idea of a wilderness hike. Parking is limited. Be there at 7:30am or after 5pm Keep going to the lake( 4 more miles...More

Beautiful trek through aspen groves and conifers, some rocky areas. Definitely a climb. Fall refreshing, able to wander down. Arrive early for parking (which is minimal) or take vail shuttle.

My husband hiked this trail last September and said in was beautiful. The leaves were turning. It can be chilly in the early morning, but usually in the 65- 70s if sun is out by noon.

As long as there is no snow or rain then I'm sure you can. We hiked in October and the ground was nice and dry. It's not a super difficult hike.

No. Sorry so late to respond. Should be great to spike hike or snowshoe this time of year.
